West Coast Contemporary Home Design
This three-story west coast contemporary home design was positioned to take in sweeping views of Victoria, and Juan de Fuca strait off in the distance.
It was important for the homeowners to have all family members coexist day to day on the same floor. This was achieved by creating a plan that included all of their children’s bedrooms, a large kid’s play room, along with kitchen, living, and dining on the main floor. The rooms are all generous in size, with a large open style great room that overlooks the amazing views. The great room and playroom are both spacious and vaulted.
Let's Discuss Your Plans
The parent’s master bedroom is the sanctuary space located on the uppermost floor. From here the views are absolutely stunning, with the bed wall directed squarely at the large windows, prefect for lazy mornings. The ensuite is luxurious, boasting a separate water closet, large custom shower, and a soaker tub centered on view windows facing the opposite side of the home. His and hers closets satisfy both, for organization and convenience.
Down below on the lower floor are two guest bedrooms, a separate media, and great room great for entertaining with room for big screens. In spite of the laundry being down, there is a laundry shute to help lighten the loads, and trips up, and down those stairs.
This is a very livable home, with great interior spaces, no wasted floor area, and designed perfectly to meet our clients needs. It’s modern exterior fits in well with the neighborhood, and is located within the City of Langford B.C.
